Who we are:
We are a group of motivated, experienced, and excited Nurses and Respiratory Therapists who desire to bring more resources to the healthcare workers in the rural areas of Oregon/Washington/California.
Our Background:
We are a group of Transport Nurses and Respiratory Therapists who have experienced the highs and lows of pediatric and neonatal emergency medicine the rural and critical access hospitals have experienced before, during and after the pandemic.
Why:
Fall 2022 brought a surge of RSV unlike any other. We felt the sting as we watched the rural areas struggle and come together to give the best care to our pediatric and neonatal population. Since the covid pandemic resources for these patients became more and more scarce resulting in a decline in Pediatric Readiness scores.
